From Candles to Counters: Creating a Whole-Home Experience
When I started Clean Glow Co. in 2022, I had a simple goal: to create home fragrance products that made people feel at home. Inspired by the beauty of the Appalachian Mountains and a love for cozy, comforting spaces, I began hand-pouring candles in small batches from our home in Big Stone Gap, Virginia.
What started with candles quickly became something much bigger.
Over the years, Clean Glow Co. has grown from a candle business into a brand focused on creating a complete home experience, one that celebrates comfort, intentional living, and the little moments that make a house feel like home.
It Started With a Candle
Like many small businesses, Clean Glow Co. began with one product and a big dream. Our soy candles quickly became customer favorites, especially scents inspired by the Appalachian Mountains, cozy evenings at home, and cherished memories.
From the very beginning, I wanted every scent to tell a story. Whether it's the fresh air of Appalachian Mountains, the warmth of Papaw's Pipe, or the comfort of Morning Dew, each fragrance is designed to create a feeling as much as a scent.
Creating Comfort Beyond the Flame
As Clean Glow Co. grew, so did my vision.
I realized that creating a welcoming home isn't just about lighting a candle. It's about the experience of home itself, the scent of freshly washed linens, the comfort of clean countertops after dinner, the ritual of freshening a room before guests arrive, and the little details that make everyday life feel special.
That vision led to the addition of products like:

I wanted to create a cleaner that worked hard while still reflecting the values that have guided Clean Glow Co. from the beginning: thoughtfully selected ingredients, cruelty-free formulas, beautiful fragrances, and products inspired by everyday life in the Appalachian Mountains.
